How we use your details
The Burleyfields Residents' Association is the data controller for this mailing list.
What we collect
Your name, your email address, and whether you live on Burleyfields.
Why
To send you association news and updates. The tickbox on the signup form is our record of your consent, and we rely on nothing else.
Where it is kept
In EmailOctopus, a mailing list service run by Three Hearts Digital Ltd in the UK. They process your details on our behalf and do nothing else with them. Their privacy policy sets out how. We share your details with nobody else.
How long
We hold your details for as long as you are on the list. If you unsubscribe we stop emailing you, but we keep your record marked as unsubscribed so that you are not signed back up by mistake. Ask us to erase it altogether and we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reply to any email you have had from us — the reply-to address and our postal address are at the foot of every one. Each email also carries an unsubscribe link, which removes you straight away.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your details badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
